Nashville Business Journal features GLOW Nashville in “Let it Glow” piece

Our CEO Chris Stacey recently sat down with the Nashville Business Journal‘s Marq Burnett to catch up on the GLOW Nashville planning process. Check out the feature (“Let it Glow: First Tennessee Park to host new holiday attraction”) to learn how Nashville’s holiday scene is about to get a bit brighter.

Here are a couple of our favorite quotes from the conversation:

“We wanted to build an experience that has something for everyone. Whether you’re 9 or 90, we believe we’ve created something that can work for all ages because Christmas doesn’t fit into a specific demographic.”

Chris Stacey, GLOW CEO and Founder

GLOW and the Nashville Sounds have agreed to a six-year lease agreement, with approximately 300 employees involved during the 36-night run from November 22 through December 31:

“We have always wanted to activate First Tennessee Park during the holiday season, and Glow is beyond anything we could have imagined. We look forward to being part of a new holiday tradition that is perfect for families, couples or a night out with friends.”

Adam Nuse, General Manager and COO of the Sounds

The article also touches on our partnership with Strategic Hospitality to theme their Band Box concept at First Tennessee Park as Blitzen’s Band Box during GLOW, where adults 21 and up can order holiday cocktails, try their hand at curling and enter igloos:

“First Tennessee Park has always provided a really great experience throughout the Nashville Sounds’ regular season, and to have the opportunity to expand that into the off-season is something we’ve always wanted to do. With Glow, Chris Stacey has created an experience families and adults can both enjoy. We’re excited to have The Band Box be a part of that and look forward to extending the fun.”
